Reviews, whether they are Quotatis Smart Reviews or reviews from another source, help you to win more work. Why is this? Because 88% of customers trust reviews.
Studies have shown that customers want to see reviews from genuine clients before they engage a professional for their project. That means that it’s vital that you ask your customers to leave you a review on your Quotatis Smart Profile to tell other future customers how brilliant your service is.
Even negative reviews help
The normal reaction when you get a negative review is to panic and want to hide it. But this isn’t always the best thing to do.
If you get a negative review, use it to show what good customer service you offer. Instead of ignoring the review and hoping it’ll get hidden away by postive reviews, take the time to contact the customer. Open a dialogue with them to find out if there is anything you can do to rectify the issue. You might find that this is all it takes for the customer to change their review. All they needed to do was voice their concerns and have you reassure them.
But it might take you a little more work. You should endeavor to create a positive experience for your customer. This might involve going back to their property and rectifying something they’re not happy with or giving them a discount on the next job they book you to do.
Once you’ve solved the issue for the customer, you can leave a response to the review and show future customers how you made things right. Or you might find that the customer updates their review to reflect your response, which can do wonders in showing that you care about making sure your customers have a good experience.
How to encourage customers to leave you a review
The best way to get customers to leave a review is to ask them. Let them know when you first contact them that you’ve got reviews on your Smart Profile for them to view. Explain that this will help them make their decision on who to choose for the work.
Then, when you’ve completed the work for your customer, let them know that they can leave you a review. We send them a link to complete a review about your quote 4 days after you receive their enquiry. Then we’ll send them another 30 days after so they can review the quality of your work.
This gives you a great opportunity to build your reviews. But it also lets you see how good your sales pitch is as well as the work you carry out for your customers.
