You will have noticed on your Smart App that you don’t just have to take card payments to get paid for the work you do – you can even record cash payments in the app so you can track what your customers are paying. You can also offer Paylink as a payment option to your customers. But how does it work?
Paylinks make it easy for you and your customers
A Paylink is a link that your customer can click on in an email to pay their invoice online. Click on ‘Get Paid’ or tap on ‘Take Full Payment’ or ‘Part Payment’ and choose the amount for the payment, then you’ll see that you can select ‘Card Payment’, ‘Cash’ or ‘Paylink’:
Customers receive a personalised email
When you send the Paylink, the Smart App or Smart Dashboard sends an email to the customer asking them to pay their invoice:
Reassure customers that their money is safe
Then all they have to do is click the big blue ‘Pay My Invoice’ button, and they can enter their card details themselves in the secure web form.
You will get a notification when your customer has paid their invoice. That’s it!
Sending a Paylink is a great way to reassure customers who are concerned about paying by card on your Smart App. It’s also handy when you finish a job and the customer isn’t there to make a payment on site.
